چکیده
Until recently, homelessness in Canada was largely considered to be an urban phenomenon. This assumption has been reinforced by interventions that primarily focus on areas. The past decade seen a steady increase research and reports rural homelessness, using qualitative methods. Recently, there have some efforts develop enumeration methods measure describe the scale scope of homelessness. These enumerations resulted unprecedented availability quantitative data number characteristics people experiencing Canada. In this article we report which collected analyzed from Canadian enumerations. Significantly, these show per capita rates communities are higher than those Canada’s largest centres. also significant percentage persons (PEH) unsheltered fall into category absolute provides snapshot is contrary dominant narrative predominately “hidden homelessness” communities. Counting and enumerating aggregate classifiers
We propose a generic model for the “weighted voting” aggregation step performed by several methods in supervised classification. Further, we construct an algorithm to enumerate the number of distinct aggregate classifiers that arise in this model. When there are only two classes in the classification problem, we show that a class of functions that arises from aggregate classifiers coincides wit...

Lack of awareness or recognition of homelessness The June issue of In Focus provides a synthesis of recent literature on rural homelessness. Homelessness is often conceptualized as an urban issue, which is reflected by the dearth of research on homelessness in rural areas. In reality, homelessness is pervasive in rural communities due to high rates of poverty, unemployment or underemployment, l...

متن کاملCounting and enumerating pseudo-triangulations with the greedy flip algorithm∗
This paper studies pseudo-triangulations for a given point set in the plane. Pseudo-triangulations have many properties of triangulations, and have more freedom since polygons with more than three vertices are allowed as long as they have exactly inner angles less than π. In particular, there is a natural flip operation on every internal edge. We establish fundamental properties of pseudo-trian...
